Training & Training Support

Analysing who must learn what, then building the courses, aids and devices to close the gap.

What it is

Training & Training Support covers the processes, materials and devices needed to train operators and maintainers: analysing training needs against tasks and target audiences, designing courses, producing training materials, and specifying training aids, simulators and devices.

Why your contract asks for it

The Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is a standard contract deliverable, and it must trace to the maintenance and operator task lists — a TNA invented in isolation will not survive customer review. Training is also a recurring revenue area many suppliers underprice or underscope.

Typical activities and deliverables

  • Training Needs Analysis (TNA) against task and audience data
  • Course design and training material development
  • Training device / simulator requirement specification
  • Instructor and initial cadre training planning
