Supply Support

Identifying, cataloguing, provisioning and replenishing every spare, repair part and consumable the system needs.

What it is

Supply Support is everything required to identify, catalogue, procure, receive, store and issue the spares and consumables of a system: initial provisioning analysis, sourcing decisions, cataloguing (including NATO codification), and the replenishment pipeline once the system is in service.

Why your contract asks for it

This is the element behind contract lines like "an S2000M-compliant Initial Provisioning List shall be delivered". For many SMEs it is the first — and most confusing — IPS deliverable they ever face. Getting provisioning data wrong is also expensive: it directly drives what the customer buys and stocks.

Typical activities and deliverables

  • Initial provisioning analysis and candidate item selection
  • Producing IPL/IPC data sets (S2000M or customer-specific formats)
  • Cataloguing and NATO codification support
  • Sparing analysis and recommended spares lists (RSPL)
  • Provisioning conferences with the customer
